A few months ago, I became just one more of those well-educated late twenty-something women to re-enter singlehood. Yes, I am one of those women whose family is wondering why she's still single and whose friends assure is "amazing" but just hasn't found the right guy. The last few months have taught me two things, 1) that I have wonderful friends and family and 2) online personals can be hilarious. Here's my story.
I have a confession. I almost started crying on the subway tonight on my ride home from work. Maybe it was the guilt from eating a pumpkin loaf slice from Starbucks. Maybe it was the built up stress from work. Maybe it was PMS making an early visit. Or maybe it was the fleeting revelation that sometimes dating just sucks.
